Faith.
Hope.
Love.
Strength.
Everything came from my trust in Him.
Until I felt like I was starting to lose it all.
My faith was fractured.
I needed to find my way back…
Before I lost my trust in Him completely.

Dominique Laura started off writing under the pen name Rosie C. but grew brave enough to transition to her real name (well, close enough to it). She loves to read and write whenever possible. She’s an advocate for love and happily ever afters, and she’s snarky and sarcastic. She lives in sunny Southern California with her dog, who she’s slightly obsessed with.

By the Grace of You is a short novella about losing faith in God and His word. And Lord let me tell you how much this novel broke me and how much it meant to me. If you believe in God, in any God, there may have been a time n your life that you lost your way. Lilli loses her way for a big reason, but as did I, but sometimes it’s something little in your life that can cause you to question your beliefs and your faith.
Sometimes you need someone to help you guide your way back.
Noah is that person to Lilli. Does he make her believe in God again? No. Does he help guide her back? Yes. He helps give Lilli the strength to find her way again, though he’s not the reason. Lilli has Faith already, was brought up in the church, believed in Christ with her whole heart, but lost that belief and questioned everything for a time. Which she had to learn was normal, for anyone, not just for someone who lost someone in the way she did.
Beware: This novella made me cry several times. In the beginning, I was crying big, fat, ugly, sad tears. Towards the end, I was crying again because I was happy. In such a short novella, my emotions were all over the place, empathizing with Lilli, hurting for her. Dominique, in a few words and chapters, evokes emotions you sometimes wish you weren’t feeling because your hurting so much, but also makes you so happy that you’re smiling from ear to ear.
If you have the chance, if you believe in anything at all, read this novel. Rediscover your own faith.
Dominique: CAN YOU WRITE A ROM-COM SO I CAN STOP CRYING? THANK YOU. (I’m kidding, keep writing ANYTHING, I will always read it.)

Marble isn’t the only thing that’s hard at this museum.
His body is as chiseled as Adonis. His lips are as sculpted as David. And his ego is the size of the Guggenheim.
You know the type—wolfish smile and the gravity of a black hole. The kind of man who sucks all the air from the room the second he enters it. My cocky boss thinks this internship was wasted on me, and he doesn’t hesitate to let me know.
But he’s wrong, and I’m going to prove it to him. If I can stay away from his devil lips, that is. Lips that cut me down and kiss me in the same breath, leaving me certain he’s on a mission to ruin my life.
And maybe my heart.

Staci has been a lot of things up to this point in her life: a graphic designer, an entrepreneur, a seamstress, a clothing and handbag designer, a waitress. Can’t forget that. She’s also been a mom to three little girls who are sure to grow up to break a number of hearts. She’s been a wife, even though she’s certainly not the cleanest, or the best cook. She’s also super, duper fun at a party, especially if she’s been drinking whiskey, and her favorite word starts with f, ends with k.
From roots in Houston, to a seven year stint in Southern California, Staci and her family ended up settling somewhere in between and equally north in Denver, until they grew a wild hair and moved to Holland. It’s the perfect place to overdose on cheese and ride bicycles, especially along the canals, and especially in summertime. When she’s not writing, she’s reading, gaming, or designing graphics.

Piece of Work was a novel full of laughter, finding your own person, as well as diversity. It was full of love and pain, mixed in with sass and attitude, and finding the way to become the person you want to be while staying true to who you are. It was a novel that had so much in it besides just finding love, that my head is full of both Renaissance work and also life lessons. I highlighted so many quotes in this book, not only the sweet ones filled with love, but also the ones that broke my heart. I highlighted the ones I wanted to remember forever.
In romance, it’s often hard to find books that don’t feature the typical white female and white male. I’ve found I mostly read white girls meeting white boys. Nothing wrong with that, it’s just true. To read this novel, and see a six foot Asian girl, who’s smart as hell, and her roommates that are everything in between, and it was awesome! Rin lives with her three roommates, who are all varying degrees of shy and anti-social, but so incredible in their own ways.
Rin is almost done with her PhD when we meet her, and she got an internship at the Met to complete it. We see her in the beginning as an insecure girl, trying to hide herself in clothes that don’t fit. Throughout the novel we see her bloom into a woman confident in her height and her intelligence, with new clothes and a new attitude about how to handle life. Not for Court Lyons, no for herself which makes gives the confidence in her clothes and her abilities as a future curator, that much more strength.
When we meet Court Lyons, he is closed off to relationships, both for friendships and for love. He is focused on her career, and definitely not looking for a woman to match him in both wits and art history. Throughout the novel, we see him make his own self discoveries, including that he is turning out to be the person he most despises: his father. We watch him find a woman that arouses him physically and mentally. He falls for Rin’s brain before her body, and the confidence she finds to not only stand up for herself, but put herself first. This pushes Court to reevaluate his life, to become the best person he can be.
This is going to go down as one of my favorites for 2018! As my first of Staci’s work, I am in absolute love!

She’s off-limits. Inappropriate. A tease, a brat, a
scandal waiting to happen, and a royal pain in my ass.
Oh, and she’s one more thing too: all mine.
…She just doesn’t know it yet.
I have a problem. A five-foot-five, brown-haired, green-eyed
little tease of a problem. A problem that’s lived under my
roof ever since I took her in as if she were my own years ago.
Lola. Princess Lola, that is. Lola with the
fiery sass, the softest lips, the sweetest skin, and the most temping curves
these rough hands have ever wanted to grab ahold of
I’m her guardian – the man who took care of her and raised
her up. But my eyes have started lingering longer than they should. My thoughts
have turned darker, and there’s no turning back.
See, I want this Princess to be my little
Princess. I want her laid out dressed in nothing but jewels and a smile – a
present waiting for me to unwrap and claim.
The world will say this is so fucking wrong. They’ll say I’m
more than twice her age. They’ll say a rough, hardened, ex-soldier like myself
has no business being with her. They’ll say a lot to try and keep us apart.
…They can all go to hell.
Because whatever my Lola wants, she’ll get. And she’s about
to get every inch of everything she wants.
…But only if she says please.

#1 bestselling contemporary romance author Madison Faye is the dirty alter ego of the very wholesome, very normal suburban housewife behind the stories. While she might be a wife, mom, and PTA organizer on the outside, there’s nothing but hot, steamy, and raunchy fantasies brewing right beneath the surface!
Tired of keeping them hidden inside or only having them come out in the bedroom, they’re all here in the form of some wickedly hot stories. Single-minded alpha hero, sinfully taboo relationships, and wildly over-the-top scenarios. If you love it extra dirty, extra hot, and extra naughty, this is the place for you! (Just don’t tell the other PTA members you saw her here…)

Unlike the previous two in the series, Daddy Duke begins before Callie’s wedding. Lola and Xavier have been trying to deny their feelings for each other for too long. Xavier knows it isn’t right to see his ward, someone half his age, as a woman instead of the girl he brought into his home when she had nowhere else to go. Although Xavier should have been a father figure, and he is the only family that Lola knows, he hasn’t been. Lola has always had a crush on him, but knew that having a crush on your guardian was not exactly appropriate.
So they both try to ignore their feelings for one another, trying to date others in hopes of forgetting the one they really want. But all that changes the night Xavier comes home to find her with a boy, a prince. His feelings explode to the surface, and Lola realizes that she may not be the only one experiencing feelings. So she pushes the limit, tests the boundaries. And yes, this is a Daddy novel, but not the DD/lg type. Lola just calls him Daddy during sex.
Unlike the others in the series, this wasn’t a case of insta-love, since Xavier and Lola have known each other for years. They were friends first, never crossing the line of guardian/ward. But as Lola grew older, that friendship turned into something more, something dirty, erotic, and all around naughty. It was so good reading their story unfold, watch Xavier try to deny Lola, when he can’t deny her anything. This novella was filled with sweet love, and dirtier sex. (There’s even a scene with some jewels, so you should go check that out…)
Anyways, 5 Stars for Madison Faye, for this amazing series, this awesome book, and for making me drink a bottle of wine while reading.

She was trapped in a gilded cage, trying to break free. And she finally did, but what she didn’t know was she wouldn’t get far.
Snow was mine even if she didn’t know it yet.
She’d run. I’d follow.
And once she was mine I wasn’t letting her go. And once Snow White was back I’d show her where she belonged…with me.
Warning: This might be a modern day twist on a classic fairytale, but the heat is extra hot with this one. If you like a safe read with a HEA and possessive hero staking his claim, this one is for you.
Mila Crawford is a book lover and has been around them one way or another her whole life. She is a fan of happily ever afters, sassy heroines, over the top alphas, and most of all safe reads.
Aria Cole is a thirty-something housewife who once felt bad for reading dirty books late at night, until she decided to write her own. Possessive alpha men and the sassy heroines who love them are common, along with a healthy dose of irresistible insta-love and happily ever afters so sweet your teeth may ache.
For a safe, off-the-charts HOT, and always HEA story that doesn’t take a lifetime to read, get lost in an Aria Cole book!
