nerdgasm (noun): an emotional climax at the peak of intense (sometimes sexual) excitement, characterized by a deep attraction to nerdy things and/or people.
My stutter makes it easy to become the center of attention for all the wrong reasons, so I try hard to stay out of the spotlight.
But when Addison Mitchell breezes into the class I TA for, she turns my world upside down, shaking me out of my comfort zone.
Confident and bold, her wandering hands set my body on fire.
She sees the real me, and she’s still interested.
I’m completely out of my element, yet I’ve never felt more alive.
Fingers crossed we’re not a one-off fling.
I have a lot to learn, but I’m willing to make this work.
I’m going to give her more than a nerdgasm.
I’m going to give her my heart.

Kimberly Reese published her first novel in 2017 and has since been hard at work writing more steamy stories. She grew up in a military family and is currently working on her tan in Arizona. When she isn’t writing, you can catch her reading, traveling, resisting the urge to adopt more dogs, or spending time with family.

Ok, are you ready to see me go super fangirl? Cause it’s comin’.
I FREAKING LOVE THEO, holy crap. I love a good nerd, but I usually go for Alpha all the way. Like nerdy alpha, marina alpha, alpha a-hole, alpha ALL the time. I like the men rough and all “Baby, you’re mine let’s go,” and the girls all “Um, what? No.” I love the push and pull. Even in rom-coms, I still like to see some alpha action happening. I read the blurb for this, sure, but honestly? I saw nerd and signed up for the ARC. Also, Dominique Laura is Kimberly’s book soulmate, and I love her so I took a chance.
THANK GOD I DID, HOLYMOLY.
Theo is SO not alpha (well, except that one time which was super hot but whatever – or if he has to remind Addy about how important she is to him). He’s the kid who had a stutter growing up, and was bullied because of it (I hate kids). He’s learned to own it the best way possible, which for this beta, means rising above the jerks. He’s on his way to get his masters, and TA’s for a class where he meets the beautiful Addy.
Addy is working on graduating and avoiding d-bags like the guys she usually goes out with. While everyone is drooling over the professor in her class, she’s focused on the shy TA. Why? Who knows. There’s that instant connection between the two, which immediately makes Theo’s stutter come back (awweeeeee) and Addy adores it.
So of course I adore her.
This romance is sweet, but it gets steamy too (ask Kimberly’s dad-join her readers group to find out why I find this hilarious). Unfortunately, that means Theo’s gotta get some advice on what to do with a girl… Which will lead you to a very uncomfortable encounter but will probably also leave you laughing and crying. In fact, this whole book will have you gripping your sides because your laughing so much.
Kimberly’s sense of humor is so obviously infused within this novel. Addy and Theo have so much fun together, they will have you laughing, while also cheering for them both to just freaking label it already. JUST DO IT, Shia LaBeouf says so. Your cheeks will be smiling so much at all the fun these two have, all they discover with each other and about each other.
But it also dealt with bullying, and how people deal with their bullies. It dealt with self-confidence, and loving someone for who they are, faults and all. I mean, nobody’s perfect, but if anyone was, it’d probably be Theo. It switched up the roles, having Addy be the aggressor – which was AWESOME in my humble opinion (because two shy people would be so painfully awkward I’d probably cry).
Soooooo what this basically says is that I’m now stalking Kimberly and begging her to write more sweet, sexy nerds because HOLY HANNAH MONTANA I loved this book, so hard.

When her nose isn’t buried in a book, or her fingers flying across a keyboard writing, she’s in the kitchen creating gourmet meals. You can find her, in four inch heels no less, in the car chauffeuring kids, or possibly with her husband scheduling his business trips. It’s a good thing her characters do what she says, because even her Labrador doesn’t listen to her…

I always knew this day would come – that it would be my turn.
A bestselling and award winning author, Jennifer Miller was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, but now calls Arizona home. Jennifer’s love of reading began when she was a small child, and only continued to grow as she entered adulthood. Ever since winning a writing contest at the young age of nine, when she wrote a book about a girl with a pet unicorn, she’s dreamed of writing a book of her own. Quickly learning that dreams don’t just fall into your lap, she knew she had to chase them herself and not be afraid to dream a little bigger. Most importantly, she is a wife and mother, and is very lucky to have a family that loves and supports her in all things. She also has an unhealthy addiction to handbags and chocolate covered strawberries, neither of which she cares to change. For more information about Jennifer and her books please visit her website.

Part of the Happily Ever Alpha, Kindle Worlds Until Series crossover, Until Kayla has alpha yumminess, and a single dad that is drool worthy! It’s got the drama you need, plus the sweetness to make you swoon, and a woman who loves a little girl as if it were her own. CC Monroe always writes books that somehow wreck your entire world but also give you insight into something deeper, and this was no exception. Both Kayla and Jase go through something rough, but they come together to make everything better!
Until Leo was also part of the Happily Ever Alpha Kindle Worlds, and featured Leo, a single dad and a cop that we met in one of Aurora Rose Reynolds’ books. Not only is it a single dad, but it’s also a man in uniform. Leo and Carrie meet at a daddy-daughter class and it is the cutest thing ever, I’m swooning all over again. I seriously am obsessed with Rochelle Paige (she’s got another series I’ll mention in here because it’s also one of my faves!), but I love Leo so freaking much.
Warning: Get your tissues ready with this one. Natasha Madison’s Something So series can have you laughing one minute and crying the next, but THIS BOOK will wreck you so hard. I read it and was crying big fat ugly tears! I thought I reviewed it, but it looks like I never did it, just fangirled over it a lot in my head. That means I’m going to have to do a reread (THE HORROR lol) so I can write a review. But y’all, just so you know how much this wrecked me: Zack is a single dad who’s son has cancer. Denise is an oncologist, one of the best at treating those with cancer. THINK ABOUT IT.
Brynne Asher’s Carpino series is SO FUNNY it’s amazing. Athica Lane mixes a crazy Carpino clan, with a single dad who has issues with his ex, and a woman who loves to bake and loves his kids with her whole heart. Cam and Paige have a lot of fun together, and Cam adds a whole new level to *swoon* and crazy families but they also struggle together. Cam and Paige go through some crazy stuff before they can have their HEA. But it’s so worth it!! And it’s FREE on Kindle Unlimited!
Deception is actually the first in the Mafia Ties series by Fiona Davenport, aka Rochelle Paige and Elle Christensen. It mixes Italian mafia king Nic DeLuca with sweet Anna Martin, who wants nothing more than to be a mom. There are three parts to their story, where these two burn up the sheets and the world with their desire for each other and the love they share. And Nic’s daughter is literally the cutest!!!
I think I’m just obsessed with Natasha… in a not creepy way? Sure. Anyway, this is also from the Something So series. It’s only $0.99 so get it now!! Because you will not regret reading Parker and Cooper fall in love, or watch Cooper step up and be the man Parker’s children need in their lives. It features a woman who is in her mid-thirties, divorced, with two kids with a big age gap, falling for a man who is younger than her, a hockey god, who’s alpha on top of it all. Trust me, you’ll love it.
For a debut novel, this was a hit! It had me cracking up, crying I was laughing so hard, but then also just crying. This book features Liam, a radio talk show host who helps people find out if their partners are cheating on them, and Kensley, who is one of the unfortunate women who caught their partner cheating. This book sent me on a roller coaster in all the best ways, and after I finished I got two bonus chapters for joining a special group on Michelle’s facebook!
This is another book that will wreck your world. Braunwyn has already been through so much in her short life, that all I wanted was to see her happy. And Levi, GOD LEVI, is so absolutely fantastic, stepping up for Braun and her little girl when he was dead set against ever having a girl, let alone being a daddy. But almost from the minute he locks eyes with Braun, he falls for her. Denies it, tries to ignore it, but once he meets Braun’s little girl? All bets are off. He’s done. Goodbye, bachelorhood, hello daddy.
